Dr. White was a military brat whose family landed in Colorado Springs when she was 12. She graduated from Air Academy High School in 1995 and went on to Colorado State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology in 1998. She then moved to Maryland to attend the University of Maryland for dental school. It was in Baltimore that she had her first child, Tehnley, in 2002, between her junior and senior years of dental school. After graduation in 2003, she moved home to Colorado and completed a general practice residency at the VA Hospital here in Denver. She acquired this practice in August of 2004.

Over the years, the practice has moved, grown and morphed into what it is now. Along the way, Dr. White has added four additional children to the mix! Kian was born in 2005, Cahle in 2008, Luke in 2012 and Graysen in 2017. Dr. White has no hobbies because her children are very needy. She does like escaping to work and finds much joy in chit chatting her day away with all her long time and new patients!

Dr. Laycock has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. He has been providing compassionate, comprehensive dental care to the Boulder area for the past 16 years.

Dr. Laycock graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science and then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Additional General Practice Residency training at Denver Health brought him to Colorado where he has practiced ever since.

When he is not caring for patients at L-Town Dental, he enjoys golfing, skiing, cycling and spending time with his wife Christine and their two Dalmatians, Sandy and Bode, who can often be found at the office Mondays.

John is part Office Manager, part Ambassador here at L-Town Dental. He has been with us since 2023. John made the jump to the dental field to spend more time with his lovely bride, Dr. White. John spends his days chatting up the patients and bad-mouthing insurance companies.

In his free time, John enjoys coaching sports and living vicariously through the trials and tribulations of the 7 children in his blended family. John is passionate about a wide range of things, at the top of his list is where he grew up, Central N.Y. You should ask him about it… if you have time.

Tanya is an expanded duties dental assistant with over 30 years in the dental industry. She has been a part of the L Town Dental team for 8 years. She loves interacting with her patients and being able to help people. With the ever-changing field of dentistry, she loves that she can continue to learn and expand her dental knowledge.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her spouse of 30 years, her family, books, art, gaming, and her cats.

Claire has been a part of our team, and we are very happy to have her. Claire loves to travel, sing, and entertain the patients, which they enjoy thoroughly. She has 30 years working as a professional in the healthcare field. Claire is very knowledgeable, and it shows with her skills and professionalism.

Claire is from London, England; she is married and has two children with two grandchildren.

Allison was born and raised in Colorado and grew up in Longmont. She has been in the dental field for 14 years. She has been an EDDA with L-Town Dental for 5 years. She finds it very rewarding to help patients gain confidence in their smile.

She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies and being outdoors. Fun fact about her is that she’s a huge sneaker fanatic.

Deann has been in the dental field for 24 years and has been an EDDA assistant for 20 of those years. She is currently learning the front desk.

She’s been married for over 39 years and raised 2 beautiful daughters. She is also a grandma to 2 sweet granddaughters who are her whole world. She enjoys painting and spending time with her family.

Lucy is a dental assistant at L-Town Dental. Born and raised in Colorado. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for every patient during their visit. She is passionate about oral health and committed to continuing her education in the dental field.

Outside of the office, she enjoys movie nights with her family.

Jolene grew up all over the US, with her favorite states being the sunny ones. She has been a dental hygienist for over 22 years and with the practice since 2022.

Her favorite hobby is collecting house plants... 31 and counting….

Born and raised in Colorado, Danielle has held a passion for healthcare from a young age. In her teens she volunteered at Avista Hospital, and from that point she knew healthcare is where her passions were. Danielle worked as a dental assistant for 12 years prior to attending hygiene school. Danielle graduated from Concorde Career College in 2020, with an Associate’s of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.

While in hygiene school she was her class president for the Student Chapter of the American Dental Hygiene Association. This opportunity led to a passion for advocating for her profession.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter while exploring all of the great activities Colorado has to offer.

Jen is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She brings almost two decades of experience to her role, and prior to that, almost 5 years of dental assisting experience. She has been with L-Town since 2007.

She prides herself on a gentle and compassionate approach to dental care. Building relationships with her patients and helping each one achieve optimum oral health is her priority.

Outside of work you'll find her spending time with her family. Paddleboarding, snowboarding, hiking, gardening, and traveling are some of her hobbies.

Dena Tinsley, RDH, joined the L-Town team in March of 2025. She has been in the dental field for over 30 years, obtaining her certifications in dental assisting in 1992, surgical technician in 1994 and dental hygiene in 1997. She is also certified in local anesthesia and laser treatments.

She has been told she is gentle yet thorough and her patients appreciate her empathy. She believes that the fountain of youth is just under our noses, literally, and that a healthy mouth is the foundation of a healthy body. Her passion is the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease.

Her other passions are her husband and three children, her dog, Daisy, and her crazy little bird named Percy. She enjoys fly fishing and traveling.

Tehnley White grew up in Longmont, Colorado. She’s been working at L-Town Dental since 2022 as a Hygiene Assistant. Also, she is currently working towards gaining acceptance to school to become a hygienist.

A fun fact about Tehnley is she was Dr. White’s first dental patient, also known as first born child!

Holly is a Colorado Native and has lived all along the front range from Colorado Springs to Ft. Collins. After receiving a degree in Merchandising from CSU, she worked many years in retail management and veterinary hospitals, finally finding her way to the dental field and L-Town Dental. She enjoys interacting with patients and tries to be a positive moment in their day.

Outside of work Holly spends as much time outdoors as possible. She enjoys playing in the mountains, paddleboarding, fly fishing, identifying wildflowers, volunteering and most importantly, spending time with her dachshund/german shepard mix, Gypsy.
